In 2002 we opened our doors in Soho as the very first salon in New York City specializing in spray tanning. Our goal was to give our clients the most perfect fake tan humanly possible!

We understand that in order to create a great spray tan the most important step in the process is to ask you how you want to look. 'Tan' means many things to many people. Some people just want a very light conservative glow while others prefer a darker look. What suits one person may not be right for another.

To help ensure you leave our salon with just the right shade of color:

• We ask you what shade you'd like your tan to be (a healthy glow, light, medium, dark, or extra dark). It is quite possible to do different shades on different parts of the body - such as a light tan on the upper body and face and a medium tan on the legs. Just let us know what your preference is!


• We advise you on what shade we think is realistic for your skin tone.


• We collaborate with you to create a look that is perfect for you.

We will customize your spray tan to your exact preferences. Want more coverage on your legs and butt and just a touch on your face? No problem - all you have to do is let us know. This is the big difference between a custom spray tan and the one-size-fits-all booths - we are more than happy to accommodate your requests. We can even spray you in such a way that cellulite is minimized and your body looks more toned and sculpted.

Joy Romano is a partner of Brazil Bronze Management and Manager and Partner of our Soho, New York Salon. She has an extensive backround in franchising, business developement and sales and marketing. In 2003 Joy was given the prestigious award for "Business Woman of the Year" by Senator Martin J. Golden. Joy has been a member of the Business Advisory Council since 2002, lending her insight and expertise to forge a true partnership between business and Government. In 2004 she received the "National Commitee Leadership Award" and the "Ronald Reagan Gold Medal Award" from The White House. Joy's passions include karate, personal training and holistic health and she is committed to helping people feel good about themselves. Joy is very excited to be part of the Brazil Bronze team.

Annamarie Ferrando has been helping Sally with Brazil Bronze since 2002. She and her husband helped innovate and revolutionize the spray tanning equipment that we use in our New York salon - staying ahead of technical trends. Annamarie is extremely experienced in the art of spray tanning and happy to listen to each person's individual needs and concerns.
