is it really 2012?

Is 2012 really the end of the world? My birthdate this year is 01.21.12. It sounds very significant to me....has a very good ring to it. I am sure something is going to happen. Hopefully not the end of the world. But just in case, I am living by the wholesome mantra of making every day count.
